The Forum was held in Sana'a, Yemen from June 27 to 30, 1999. The Forum brought together political, civic and economic leaders - heads of state and government, cabinet ministers, political party and parliamentary leaders, civil society activists and key players in public and private sector economic reform - of countries advancing democratic reform.
