NDI Staff: Biographies
Joe Gleason
Joe Gleason is the Director of Global Security and Operations at NDI. Since joining NDI in 1998, he has provided logistical and administrative support to Institute programs world-wide. He helped establish new offices in Afghanistan, Guinea, Kosovo, Lebanon and Morocco, and provided logistical support to election missions in Indonesia and Peru. In December 2000, he participated in the OSCE election mission to Serbia. During NDI's International Leaders Forum at the 2000 Democratic National Convention, Mr. Gleason directed transportation and security issues. Before joining NDI, he managed the European Information Centres for Disclosure, LTD, a London-based firm specializing in financial and business data research. He earned his BA in International Studies from George Mason University and MA in International Studies from Old Dominion University.
