Sevdalina Voynova is NDI’s resident senior program manager based in Sofia, where she manages all Institute programs in Bulgaria as well as the Bulgarian component of NDI’s region-wide Roma initiative.
Before joining the Institute in 2005, Ms. Voynova worked as a community organizer for the Shalom Cultural Center in Sofia, as a researcher/program coordinator at Sofia University, and as a program assistant in the Sofia-based office of International Republican Institute. Ms. Voynova earned a Master’s degree in Philosophy and Oriental Studies from Oxford University, and a Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics from St. Kliment Ohridski University in Sofia. She speaks fluent Bulgarian, English, Hebrew and Russian.
