As Congo Electoral Campaign Starts, Congolese and International NGOs Call for Urgent Measures to Prevent Escalating Violence Start: 10/28/2011 09:00 The national election campaign in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) starts on Friday, exactly one month ahead of historic presidential and legislative elections scheduled for Nov. 28.
