The Program Coordination (PC) team was established in 1993 to coordinate with NDI donors, and promote interoffice communication and teamwork. Program Coordination works with NDI's donors and regional, functional and administrative teams on project/grant administration issues, and serves as a resource to NDI staff throughout all stages of the project lifecycle.

NDI's Public Affairs Team handles external communications for the Institute. Areas of responsibility include media relations, publications, the NDI website, electronic communications and social media. Public Affairs works closely with NDI's regional and issue teams, both in Washington and around the world, to provide up to date information on the Institute’s many activities.

The library consists of a collection containing more than 2,500 volumes and 200 periodical subscriptions (both paper and electronic). The collection relates principally to international issues, and is augmented by functional categories such as local government, civil-military affairs and other matters tied to the Institute’s core programs.
