Armenia Spotlight

Armenia faces major challenges surrounding democratic development, rule of law, media freedom, corruption, and other human rights issues. What is the impact of international relationships and the Nagorny Karabakh conflict on Armenian politics and society?

The Carnegie Endowment and Foreign Policy Center (FPC) will co-host an event with FPC's Adam Hug, Laura Jewett of NDI and Dawn Schock of the ABA Rule of Law Initiative. The Honorable John Evans, former U.S. ambassador to Armenia from 2004 to 2006, will serve as a discussant. Thomas de Waal will moderate.
