The National Albanian American Council (NAAC) and the National Democratic Institute(NDI) cordially invite you to adiscussion with women leaders of Kosovo.

In the more than ten years since the end of violentconflict, Kosovo has worked to construct and reinforce an inclusive politicalenvironment and strengthen domestic democratic institutions. How has healthcare and social welfare fit into this broader statebuilding process?  How have Kosovo’s political leaders approached health care issues?  What activities are taking place in other sectors to strengthen health care andquality of life for Kosovo’s citizens? A panel of eight women leaders from Kosovo willdiscuss these questions as they visit NDI while in the United States on a NAAC Hope Fellowship.
