Sponsorship Opportunities

Each year, NDI holds two events:  a Democracy Awards Dinner that honors individuals and organizations that have exhibited a sustained commitment to democracy and human rights; and the Madeleine K. Albright Luncheon that supports initiatives promoting women’s participation in civic or political life.  Every four years, during the Democratic Convention, NDI conducts an International Leaders Forum that offers participants insights into the American political system and opportunities to observe it in action.  

Gifts of Stock

An outright gift of stock to NDI is a quick and easy way to make a meaningful gift, avoid the capital gains tax and receive an income tax deduction for the fair market value of the stock at the time of the gift.

Planned Giving

Consider making an investment in supporting and strengthening democratic institutions worldwide that will benefit not only this generation but those to come.  Please consult your legal, financial, and tax advisers to explore the options and financial benefits available to you and your family, including tax deductions and tax savings for you and/or your designated beneficiaries.  

In-Kind Contributions

NDI gladly accepts in-kind donations related to airline miles, hotel accommodations, and travel vouchers for our domestic and international staff.

Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)

Federal government employees can support NDI each fall with donations through the Combined Federal Campaign.  If you work for the federal government, please contact your local Combined Federal Campaign coordinating office or visit www.opm.gov/cfc.

Corporate Matching Gifts

Many companies will match employee contributions to nonprofit organizations, including NDI, allowing you to double the impact of your gift.  Consult your human resources department to find out how they match employee contributions and to receive the necessary paperwork to accompany your gift.
