Marc B. Nathanson, Vice Chair [1]

 

Marc Nathanson has over 40 years of experience in the communications industry, he is currently chairman of Mapleton Investments, Mapleton Communications and Mapleton/RDS Real Estate, LLC.  From 1975 to 1999, Mr. Nathanson was the founder and CEO of Falcon Cable TV.  In 1998, President Clinton appointed him as chairman of the Broadcasting Board of Governors, which is the federal agency that supervises all U.S. international broadcasting such as, Voice of America, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty and Radio Free Asia, where he served until 2002.  Secretary Clinton recently appointed him to the Board of the East West Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, he is co-chair of the Aspen Institute Forum on Communications and Society (FOCAS) program, he is on the board of the Pacific Council on International Policy and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
