Lynda Levy Thomas is a private investor and philanthropist. Earlier in her career, Ms. Thomas was a senior manager/CPA at Deloitte Haskins & Sells in New York, and Coopers & Lybrand Deloitte in London. Her clients included international banks, publishers and health care providers. Upon leaving the field of audit consultancy, she became finance manager of European Communications Management in the UK. Ms. Thomas currently serves on the board of Torchstone Global LLC, a private company specializing in security for high net worth individuals and companies.

In addition, Ms. Thomas has a variety of non-profit endeavors including service on the board of the Laguna Beach School District and the “Schoolpower” initiative. She serves on the board of the Irvine Barclay Theatre in Irvine, Calif., and the board of the Bowers Museum, an internationally recognized cultural center based in Orange County, Calif.

Ms. Thomas has been a major supporter to NDI over the last three years and has traveled to observe NDI programs in Bosnia, Serbia, Kenya and Sudan.
