As Kenya nears presidential elections in March 2013, serious questions remain about the country's fragile peace after the implementation of a power-sharing agreement and the prospects for a repeat of the violence seen in 2008. NDI's senior resident director in Kenya, Mary O’Hagan, will share the findings of a fourth round of public opinion research on Kenyans’ perceptions of their government and the 2013 elections, as well as the current political climate. O'Hagan will also discuss how closely these trends align with patterns of violence in 2008, and potential triggers in 2013.
