About this event: Kyrgyzstan has undergone a significant democratic transformation since 2010, but still faces challenges. Although constitutional reforms, democratic elections and a peaceful transition of presidential power have contributed to its progress, the political environment is unstable and citizens are looking to their leaders for sustainable economic and social reforms that will increase jobs, combat corruptions, ease ethnic tensions, attract international investment and improve services. Mr. Imanaliev and Mr. Samakov will discuss Kyrgyzstan's sustainable development efforts within the new system and what to expect in the months to come. Their brief presentations will be followed by questions from the audience.

THIS EVENT WILL BE OFF-THE-RECORD.
