"The stage appears set for the 2011 presidential and vice presidential debates billed for March 28, 29 and 30, 2011 at ECOWAS Commission Auditorium, Abuja. The Nigerian Elections Debate Group (NEDG) in collaboration with the National Democratic Institute (NDI) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is facilitating the program. Already, all the 19 presidential candidates approved by INEC have been invited to participate in the debate.
"And as part of efforts to mobilize Nigerians to vote as well as ensure the success of the forthcoming presidential debates, the NEDG held a one-day workshop last Thursday in Abuja."
