Aminata Kassé is NDI's senior resident director in Burkina Faso, where she has worked since 2004 to strengthen Burkinabe political parties. She has worked with parties to build coalitions, develop policy positions and political messages, engage in strategic planning and promote greater women's participation and leadership in politics. Ms. Kassé has also supported NDI's regional programming through technical assistance to program participants in Guinea and Mali.
Ms. Kassé is a former member of parliament in her native Senegal and was elected twice to local office. She served as president for the Senegalese Council of Women (COSEF) from 1998 to 2004.
Ms. Kassé holds a master's degree from the University Paris X, Nanterre.
