Ian Woodward has decades of experience working in politics and international development. He currently serves as the resident director for the National Democratic Institute (NDI) in Ukraine. Mr. Woodward joined NDI in 2006. Over the course of his tenure, Mr. Woodward has designed and managed programs in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia, Tunisia and Ukraine focused on a wide range of topics, including political party strengthening, citizen participation, domestic and international election observation, and public opinion research. Prior to joining NDI, Mr. Woodward worked as a staff member in the U.S. Senate and held senior positions in several congressional campaigns. Mr. Woodward earned his degree in public administration from Michigan State University.
