Kyle Herman is a Program Officer at NDI, where he works on projects in Lebanon and Iraq focused on improving governance and increasing citizen participation among marginalized communities, including women and youth. Kyle's experience in government includes staffing President Obama as a writer in the White House Correspondence Office and serving as the assistant to the Mayor of Alexandria, Virginia. He previously spent two years teaching high school history, geography, and civics in Lebanon. Kyle is a graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and Ohio Wesleyan University.
