Alice Ratyis Pop is the resident representative of NDI in Romania. Ms. Ratyis graduated with a degree in journalism and gained experience in effective communication and strategic planning while acting as an NGO activist for many years. After graduating, she worked as a councilor of the Democratic Alliance of Hungarians in Romania, where she learned the inner-workings of a political organization. Working for NDI as a political party trainer and later as a freelance consultant, she also gained experience working with political parties from Romania and throughout Europe. In addition, she has experience in campaigning in Hungary, Macedonia, Romania, the U.K. and the U.S.
