NDI seeks a vendor (or vendors) to enhance network building within and across Afghan diaspora communities, as well as design, develop and facilitate three technical capacity-building workshops. Technical sessions will enhance engagement between Afghan activists and civil society organizations to help inform their advocacy agenda and to support efforts related to strategic goal setting.

As part of the Consortium for Elections and Political Process Strengthening (CEPPS), the National Democratic Institute (NDI) together with the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), the International Republican Institute (IRI) is implementing a five-year USAID funded Inclusive Democratic Processes and Governance (IDPG) program in Pakistan.

The National Democratic Institute seeks a research firm, hereafter referred to as the Vendor, to support the development of evidence-based social and behavior change (SBC) tools and approaches that enhance preventing and countering violent extremism (P/CVE) outcomes by promoting pluralistic and sustained youth political participation.

In collaboration with U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights (DRL) and the International Republican Institute (IRI), NDI’s PAIRS Research, Evaluation & Learning (REL) Initiative contributes to an emerging body of evidence on what works, for who, and why in the democracy, human rights and governance sector. NDI identified three key Focal Areas for evaluative research, and additional lines of inquiry for understanding the effects of COVID-19 on democratic systems.

NDI is soliciting proposals from qualified catering firms to cater lunch for three Board of Director meetings beginning in January 2024. 

NDI’s Board of Directors will hold three board meetings at its Headquarters located at 455 Massachusetts Ave. NW, Washington, DC. Approximately 25 high level board members are expected at each meeting. A buffet style lunch will be provided with coffee breaks and snacks. Catering service should be available for the entire board meeting, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm ET.
