Bruce Bonn, MD

Bruce Bonn, MD, is currently Clinical Professor of Gynecology at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He received his BS in Biology and MD in a six-year combined college/medical school program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Albany Medical College. Following medical school, he completed a four-year obstetrical and gynecologic residency at Harvard Medical School/Brigham & Women’s Hospital.

After his residency, Dr. Bonn moved to Washington, D.C., and opened a private practice in obstetrics and gynecology. In 2004, Dr. Bonn focused his practice on gynecology and gynecologic surgery for cis women and trans men. His professional interests include advanced laparoscopic surgery, including da Vinci robotic laparoscopic hysterectomy and myomectomy. Dr. Bonn has previously provided volunteer medical services at the Whitman-Walker Clinic. He and his husband live in Washington, D.C., where they are members of the Human Rights Campaign Federal Club.
