Meredith Katz

Meredith Katz currently works at Burson Cohn & Wolfe (BCW), the world's first and only agency created to deliver integrated communications solutions across all sectors on a global scale. At BCW, she leads the communications campaign for a major government client, advising on and implementing the PR, media relations, content, and crisis strategies. She previously served as Chief of Staff and Director of Strategy for the U.S. CEO, helping to develop new business efforts, internal communications and employee engagement programs. She also ran company-wide external thought leadership and executive positioning for the senior leadership team. In her position as Director for the Worldwide Chair and CEO, she managed client accounts and thought leadership projects for the firm including developing the internal and external marketing and communications efforts for BCW’s On-Demand Economy Survey (ODE), a quantitative research project on the sharing economy developed in partnership with TIME magazine and The Aspen Institute. At BCW, she has developed and executed strategic communications plans for clients ranging from technology start-ups to Fortune 100 corporations and leading nonprofits.

Before joining BCW, Meredith implemented strategic partnerships at Palisades Media Ventures between clients and media organizations to advance their thought leadership goals. This included work with a large health insurer and USA TODAY on an event and polling series that garnered front page coverage in the paper.

In her early career, Meredith worked for the National Democratic Institute on the political parties team. In her work, Meredith assisted political parties around the globe to implement democratic practices and successful internal and external communications campaigns. With NDI in 2012, she helped organize the first International Women’s Summit hosted by the President of Kosovo.
