What's New at NDI Gender, Women and Democracy (GWD):

Violence Against Women Roundtable

On December 9th and 10th, GWD convened a workshop on Violence Against Women in Politics. From practitioners, to academics, to former politicians, the impressive women who took part in opened up conversation about the problem, exchanged data and research, and began to map potential solutions to eliminate violence that targets women in politics.

COP21 Blog

GWD, under USAID's USAID's Global Women's Leadership Program (GWLP) and in partnership with Women in Parliaments Global Forum sent a delegation of women parliamentarians to participate in the COP21 Forum in Paris earlier this month. Take a look at our new thought-provoking blog post examining how climate affects women, and the need to bring women parliamentarians into meetings and decisions that matter.
