Donna Brazile is an adjunct professor, author, syndicated columnist, and the vice chair of voter registration and participation at the Democratic National Committee.
Prior to serving as vice chair of voter registration and participation, Ms. Brazile dedicated herself to strengthening the American democratic process as chair of the Democratic National Committee’s Voting Rights Institute, established in 2001 to help protect and promote the rights of all American citizens to participate in the electoral process. Former Louisiana Gov. Kathleen Blanco appointed Ms. Brazile, a New Orleans native, a member of the board of directors of the Louisiana Recovery Authority, the guiding agency charged with leading the state’s rebuilding process in the aftermath of two catastrophic hurricanes.
