The Canadian newspaper the St. Albert Gazette recently highlighted Canadians working to support democracy in the Middle East.

The article features Leslie Campbell, regional director for the Middle East and North Africa at NDI, who has been to several countries in the region over the course of the last few weeks."It's a really hands-on thing," Campbell said. "You have to get your hands dirty. It's not something done from afar."
