In recognition of Poland’s and other European countries’ leadership in supporting Ukraine and the pressing challenges to peace, democracy and justice that Russia’s premeditated and indefensible attack on Ukraine presents, the National Democratic Institute’s Board of Directors is convening its next international meeting in Warsaw and Krakow, Poland.
Periodically, NDI’s Board of Directors holds meetings outside the United States to observe programming on the ground, and to engage with international teams and important stakeholders in the seventy countries where we work.
Drawing on NDI programming in the region, the Board will discuss strategies to defend and advance democracy and stability over the long-term.
