Report of the Election Mission Reform Mission to Cote d'Ivoire 2014
Despite enduring tensions after a crisis of election-related violence in 2011, an NDI-led delegation to Côte d'Ivoire found that Ivoirians are committed to rebuilding their electoral system and share a common desire for a consensus-driven electoral process. This report provides a summary of the delegation's findings and recommendations, as well as a review of Côte d'Ivoire’s recent political history and a comparison of regional election management bodies (EMBs).

Workshop sessions focused on: fundamental principles of free, fair and transparent elections; the role of domestic observers in the electoral process; election-day procedures and reporting; and, recruiting and deploying observers.

NDI LANCE UNE CAMPAGNE NATIONALE D’ÉDUCATION AU VOTE
Press release announcing a national voter education campaign ahead of Nov. 23 legislative and municipal elections. For the campaign, NDI partnered with three Mauritanian NGOs to engage citizens in every region of the country around themes of civic responsibility, voting as a personal choice and a political right, and local policy priorities.
