NDI Malaysia has been running its Youth Program since 2022 to cultivate stronger youth agency and increase youth democratic participation. NDI has also conducted a nation-wide Voice, Space, Accountability and Power Analysis Assessment with Malaysian youth CSOs throughout the country to better understand the current structures, key players, challenges and opportunities that exist in the local youth advocacy space. Following up from this assessment and additional consultations sessions, NDI designed and delivered a series of capacity building workshops for youth activists in both Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak, empowering activists to refine and amplify their advocacy efforts.
