As Georgians prepare to elect a new president in October, they enjoy an electoral environment shaped by the fundamentals of democracy: the first peaceful transfer of power through the ballot box; a credible political opposition; a parliament characterized by meaningful debate and decisions; an increasingly independent judiciary; an active civil society; and a lively media environment.
2013 Harmonised Elections Preliminary Statment (ZESN, Zimbabwe)
The Zimbabwe Election Support Network (ZESN), as part of its comprehensive effort to observe the 2013 harmonised elections, deployed more than 7,000 observers to every province and constituency in the country.

Official Kenya Election Results are Consistent with ELOG's Parallel Vote Tabulation
According to its statement on the parallel vote tabulation and observation of the voting process in Kenya, ELOG is confident that the election day process has been generally credible. It calls on the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to immediately make public any information relevant and material to the results as announced. More specifically, ELOG calls on the IEBC to make public the individual results from all polling streams.
Polling Day Observation in Ghana: Mid-Day, Preliminary and Final Statements by CODEO
The Coalition of Domestic Election Observers (CODEO) deployed about 4,500 trained, accredited, nonpartisan rapid response observers throughout Ghana. Of this figure, 1,500 were parallel vote tabulation (PVT) observers. These observers were Ghanaians, from every walk of life, who volunteered their time to help ensure that every registered voter could freely cast his or her ballot on election day.
