NDI currently serves as the co-chair, together with the Congress of Chile, of the Open Government Partnership's Legislative Openness Working Group, which now comprises 75 governments worldwide. In this capacity, NDI has worked to support a growing number of parliaments around the world as they seek to respond to a range of challenges, from increased citizen expectations of their representative institutions to rising populism and increased political polarization.
