NDI Poll: Georgians Assess Government Performance as Poor; Hold Government Responsible for Violence in June and Believe it used “Excessive Force” on Protestors
TBILISI – Poll results released today by the National Democratic Institute (NDI) and CRRC-Georgia show that 60 percent of Georgians evaluate the current government’s performance as “bad.” The poll also shows increasing negative assessments of the prime minister, president, courts, and parliament.
NDI Poll: Georgians Believe the Country is Moving in the Wrong Direction; Economic Concerns Remain Top Priorities with Widespread Dissatisfaction with the State of the Economy
TBILISI – Poll results released today by the National Democratic Institute (NDI) and CRRC-Georgia, show that the perception of the country’s direction is at its lowest since 2010, with 49 percent saying the country is moving in the wrong direction, and only 18 percent believing it is heading in the right direction. The top issues for Georgians remain focused on the economy -- jobs (48 percent), rising prices and inflation (34 percent), and poverty (33 percent).

NDI Poll: Opportunities and Challenges Facing Ukraine’s Democratic Transition
NDI’s latest nationwide survey, completed in May 2019, following the second round of the presidential election, shows a dramatic increase in optimism and high expectations for the newly elected president as well as the country as a whole. The assessment of the presidential election far exceeded expectations with overwhelming majority of respondents (88 percent) assessing the process positively. In addition, support for EU and NATO has grown nationally and in every region of the country.
NDI Poll: EU and NATO Support Remains Strong but Threatened by Russia and Perception of Harm to Culture and Values; Armenian and Azeri Communities Respond Differently to NATO Membership
TBILISI – Poll results released today by the National Democratic Institute (NDI) and CRRC-Georgia show strong support for membership in the European Union (EU) and NATO. A total of 77 percent approve joining the EU, with 56 percent strongly approving. If the country held a referendum on membership tomorrow, 68 percent would vote for and only 14 percent against. Those who support EU membership identify economic growth, security, and jobs as the primary reasons for their approval.
