Youth Attitudes on Politics and Democracy in Central Europe (2024)

In 2024, NDI conducted public opinion research in Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia on young people’s policy preferences and priorities. The research questionnaires explored young people’s attitudes toward political systems, political participation, and the current political situation of each country. This report presents current regional trends and differences between countries.

What the “Year of Elections” Reveals About The World in 2025

In over seventy countries, representing about half of the world’s population, citizens went to the polls this year. While some noted a trend of incumbents losing, NDI saw people-powered democracy triumph on every continent. NDI worked alongside our local citizen partners to play essential roles in many of these electoral hotspots: before, during, and after the polls.
