The Women of Georgia project, supported by NDI, began in the spring of 2016 to build on the momentum for gender equality and was the largest gender equality awareness campaign ever carried out in the country. The project shared the stories of women from different backgrounds all across Georgia to illustrate the diverse, yet common, challenges women face every day, and how these challenges are being overcome.
