NDI Deploys Pre-Election Assessment Mission to Zambia
Lusaka, Zambia - The National Democratic Institute (NDI) is deploying a pre-election assessment mission to Zambia from April 25-30 in the lead-up to the August 2026 general elections.
The delegation will assess the political environment and administrative preparations for the elections and offer practical recommendations to stakeholders on measures to be taken ahead of the polls to enhance the credibility, transparency, and participation in the process.

Cotonou, Benin – A pre-election assessment mission deployed by the National Democratic Institute (NDI) and co-led by H.E. Jorge Carlos Fonseca, former president of Cabo Verde, and H.E. Catherine Samba-Panza, former head of state of the transition government of the Central African Republic, visited Benin ahead of the April 12, 2026, presidential election.
