NDI Pre-Election Assessment Mission to Benin Highlights Importance of Continued Democratic Strengthening
Cotonou, Benin – A pre-election assessment mission deployed by the National Democratic Institute (NDI) and co-led by H.E. Jorge Carlos Fonseca, former president of Cabo Verde, and H.E. Catherine Samba-Panza, former head of state of the transition government of the Central African Republic, visited Benin ahead of the April 12, 2026, presidential election.
